The short version. We collect what we need to take your order, deliver it and answer your emails. We don't sell your data to anyone. You can ask us for a copy of what we hold, or ask us to delete it, and we'll do it.

Who we are

Tryelmore Limited, registered in England & Wales, company no. 17428023. Registered office: 61 Bridge Street, Kington, Herefordshire, HR5 3DJ, United Kingdom. We are the data controller for the personal data described here.

What we collect, and why

What Why Lawful basis
Name, delivery address, email, phone To take payment and get the parcel to you Performance of a contract
Order history Returns, refunds, the 90-day guarantee, and our own accounts Contract, and legal obligation
Email address, if you subscribe To send you marketing emails Consent — you can withdraw it at any time
Emails and messages you send us To answer you Legitimate interests
Site usage data via cookies To keep the shop working and see what's used Consent, for anything non-essential

Blood test results

If you claim the 90-day guarantee you'll send us two test results. That is health data, which UK GDPR treats as a special category and holds to a higher standard. We only ever receive it because you chose to send it, we use it for one purpose — deciding your refund — and we delete it once the refund is settled. We don't add it to your customer record, we don't analyse it, and we never share it. If you'd rather redact your name and date of birth before sending, that's fine; we only need the two numbers and the dates.

Who we share it with

Only the companies that make the shop work, and only what they need:

  • Shopify — runs the store and processes payments
  • Huboo — our UK fulfilment partner; they get your name and delivery address to pack and post the parcel
  • The courier carrying your parcel
  • Our email provider, if you've subscribed
  • Our accountant, and HMRC, for tax

We do not sell your data, rent it, or hand it to advertisers.

Where your data goes

Some of these providers are based outside the UK, or store data there. Where that happens we rely on UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement, so your data keeps broadly the same protection it has here.

How long we keep it

  • Order and transaction records: seven years, because HMRC requires it
  • Marketing consent: until you unsubscribe, then we keep a record of the fact you did so we don't email you again by mistake
  • Support emails: two years
  • Blood test results sent for the guarantee: deleted once the claim is settled

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us to: give you a copy of your data; correct it; delete it; restrict or stop us using it; or send it to another provider. You can also object to processing based on legitimate interests, and withdraw consent at any time.

Email support@tryelmore.com and we'll respond within one month. There's no charge.

If you think we've handled your data badly, please tell us first — but you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or 0303 123 1113.

Cookies

Essential cookies keep your basket and checkout working; we can't turn those off. Anything else — analytics, advertising — only runs if you accept it in the banner, and you can change your mind from the cookie preferences link.

Children

Our products aren't for under-18s and we don't knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top. If the change is significant and you're on our list, we'll email you.
